Design of laboratory combustors (version one)

As part of my PhD, two laboratory-scale annular combustors were designed. After countless iterations of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings, endless communication with manufacturers, and numerous hours of technical assembly work, there they are! See photos below.

These are some photos of the second combustor! It is capable of operating at 100 kW, which is roughly one-tenth the power of its full-scale counterpart.
